A Yardi consultant with more than two decades of experience in the real estate industry.
Since days at Baker College, where he was a residence hall director, Robert Clement has been working in the real estate industry. Two decades later, he joined Saxony Partners as a real estate consulting manager with a focus on our Yardi practice.
“I came to Saxony because I saw it as an opportunity to solve new and exciting client challenges,” Robert says. “Our mission as a company is to help clients do more with their data and set them up for success. I wanted to be a part of that mission as a Yardi consultant.”
Prior to joining Saxony Partners, Robert served as a solutions architect and database administrator for Invitation Homes. He has experience working with residential clients in the single-family, multi-family, and student housing industries. Robert has also worked with clients in commercial real estate and construction. A resourceful and focused project manager, clients trust Robert to identify needs, evaluate issues and risks, and drive innovative solutions.
"At Saxony we partner with our clients from beginning-to-end to make sure they are using Yardi Voyager to its full potential,” Robert says. “We provide best-in-class core functionality implementation. But I would have to say that it’s our consultants’ knowledge of advanced Yardi Voyager modules and the real estate business in general that makes us unique.”
Robert is more than just an expert on both technical and industry processes. He's one of those people who makes your team better and your meetings more fun. After all, you won’t find many real estate consultants with master’s degrees in guidance and counseling.
“That degree has become really helpful in this industry," Robert says. “Change is hard for everyone. When clients need help making the transition to a new solution, I can use my educational background as a resource to help make that change a little easier to embrace."
For our Yardi clients, Robert leads design sessions for business process flow and builds whatever workflows are required. The result? Tedious and redundant business processes are automated, and paper-dependent processes become digitized. Beyond Yardi, Robert works with clients on Enterprise Resource Planning, which allows clients to integrate disparate applications and streamline back office functions.
Outside the office, you’ll find Robert indulging in his passion for volleyball (he plays regularly in tournaments). You’ll also find him rooting for his favorite NFL team, the Houston Texans. (That's a bold gambit here in Dallas, as his coworkers are quick to point out.)
